Age = 1 year 4 months 11 days

Bob has just been away on holiday for a week, so I had Linus to myself for three days, then Nana came to stay for the other three.

Because of Daddy’s absence, Linus and I had the morning feed to ourselves every morning, and the sweetest thing happened to me two mornings in a row.

After Linus had finished feeding from both sides and come off the breast, he very softly – without prompting – said “Mama” twice.

Bob put Linus to bed tonight, and apparently a similar thing happened to him. He was holding Linus on his shoulder (where Linus was cuddling into him and rubbing his arm), then Linus softly said “Dada”.

The little man is slowly but surely making the connection between the words and the concepts!
